Oem HTB-3100 is a 10/100M single-mode simplex fiber media converter that bridges RJ45 Ethernet to SC WDM fiber over distances up to around 20–25 km. It offers auto 10/100 negotiation, single-fiber efficiency, and LED diagnostics in a compact metal housing for CCTV, FTTH, and LAN extension.
Oem Media Converter Simplex SM HTB-3100 extends Ethernet networks. It converts RJ45 to fiber. This works over long distances.
The main USP is single-fiber efficiency. It uses one strand only. Therefore, it saves fiber costs. WDM transmits and receives on different wavelengths.
Reach extends up to 20–25 km. For example, it suits CCTV backhaul. It also fits FTTH and LAN links.
It handles 10/100 Mbps speeds. The RJ45 port auto-negotiates. Additionally, it supports full/half duplex. MDI/MDI-X auto-crossover simplifies setup.
The fiber side uses SC connector. It follows 100Base-FX standard. Therefore, it pairs with switches and NVRs easily.
Six LEDs show status. They cover power, link, act, and speed. For example, TX 100 LED confirms 100 Mbps.
This helps troubleshooting. Installers spot issues fast.
It uses IEEE802.3x flow control. This prevents packet loss. Additionally, backpressure works in half duplex.
Broadcast storm protection is included. However, it needs matched A/B pairs for simplex.
External 5V adapter powers it. Some versions take DC48V. The metal case is durable.
