The main USP of the EAP115-Wall is its ultra-slim wall-plate design. It is only about 11 mm thick and looks like a standard power or light switch. This helps it blend into hotel rooms, offices, and modern interiors without spoiling the décor.
The access point fits standard 86 mm and EU wall junction boxes. That means installers can mount it directly into existing boxes with minimal work. This is ideal for upgrades or renovations in hospitality and commercial buildings.
EAP115-Wall works on the 2.4 GHz band and supports IEEE 802.11n/g/b. It delivers wireless speeds of up to 300 Mbps. This is enough for common tasks like web browsing, email, VoIP calls, and streaming in a single room or small office.
The device uses two internal 1.8 dBi omni-directional antennas. These antennas provide even coverage in a typical room area of up to about 25 m², depending on walls and layout. One unit can serve a room or workspace with multiple phones, laptops, and IoT devices.
The access point supports PoE power (IEEE 802.3af). A single Ethernet cable can carry both data and power from a PoE switch or injector. This reduces extra power adapters and makes ceiling or wall installation easier.
EAP115-Wall includes one uplink 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port and one downlink 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port. The downlink port can connect a wired device such as an IP phone, smart TV, or desktop PC. This lets you offer both wired and wireless access in the same room.
EAP115-Wall is part of the Omada SDN solution. It supports centralized management via Omada hardware controller, software controller, or the Omada Cloud service. IT admins can monitor, configure, and update many EAP devices from a single interface.
The Omada app allows remote management from a mobile device. Features like automatic channel selection, transmit power control, load balancing, and scheduling help keep the network stable and efficient.
The access point supports multiple SSIDs (up to 8). You can create separate networks for staff, guests, and IoT devices. Using VLANs, you can isolate traffic and protect sensitive systems.
For guest Wi‑Fi, EAP115-Wall supports captive portal authentication. Businesses can show a branded login page and apply access rules. Security options include WPA/WPA2-Enterprise, WPA/WPA2-PSK, 802.1X authentication, MAC filtering, client isolation, and rogue AP detection.
